Who Are You…Today?
Midlife is the time on the Circle of Life where we create beauty, often from chaos.Sometimes from utter chaos.
We can choose to relax our breath and as we exhale we expand our circle to include all of who we were/are/will become. When we expand our circle we create space for our experience and so compassion fills the circle.
This compassion offers us courage to accept ourselves. Self acceptance provides space for our physical strength to yield to our inner strength. This creates space filled not only with compassion but also with self love and patience.
We slow ourselves down if we can release our tenacious grasp on yesterday and reside in the present moment. *Who are you….today?
*Are you committed to your success?
*Do you doubt yourself and feel you are no longer good enough?
*What are you afraid of?
I work internationally with women committed to powerful leadership roles that are destined to guide the present moment of humanity and the environment toward a future of compassion, health, vitality and sustainability.
Why Coaching? Why Now?
Why Coaching? Why Now?
Is this time in history our crisis or our opportunity?
Without a doubt, it is both.

Life Coach, Mentor Coach
I don’t need to remind anyone who is remotely engaged with today’s current world events that we live in a turbulent time in our history. For many of us these are times of crisis, loss, grief, fear and stress beyond imagination. For others, it is just more of the same: hunger, poverty, illness, lack. And still others, pride, hope, creativity, possibility.
How can a person make sense of the rapid changes affecting us all; negative and positive? Where do we go for help and support?
Why Coaching?
I have recently been told that somewhere around 70,000 people search “life coaching” every day. I imagine that this number changes with the challenges people face;
and by the way, these challenges change every day as well.
The challenges we face today are unprecedented in recent history.
Life coaching is a collaborative relationship in which the client develops a personal or professional intention with the support of the coach. Together they determine steps to support that intention with goals and action steps focused on that intention. This strategy has proven powerfully effective in facilitating positive change and transition in a person’s life. The style of coaching we offer at Circle of Life Coaching is:
Simple: We gather and distill all the information that comes to us down to what we love, value and what brings us joy
Intentional: We transform that information into knowledge by committing to meaningful and purposeful life choices and experiences
Focused: We create beauty when we focus on finding the places where emotional fear may be blocking our ability to act on our dreams for physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and environmental wellbeing.
Generous: We release or give away the beauty we create with what we learn, what we experience and choose as our values and share ourselves in relationship to others and our world.
With a Circle of Life coach we gain insight, gather tools and learn skills to continue our journey around the Circle of Life with beauty, dignity and grace.
Why now?
Because we are not only teetering on economic depression, (setback, readjustment, repurposing, call it whatever you like), we now seem to have social, environmental, spiritual, and health, challenges the earth’s people have never faced.
We are “peaking out” on resources, patience, reasons to fight, purity, kindness, good grammar, neat handwriting and graciousness. Too many of our children are wayward; too many of our elders are sad and defensive. There is too much abuse, too much neglect, too much fear and not enough calm. Too many of our marriages are unsound; too many of our rhythms interrupted; too many of our seasons and cycles are rushed. Too many of our neighbors are unknown to us; too much of our food is grown too far away. Too many cultural and spiritual practices are obscure or extinct. There are too many droughts, too much rain, not enough jobs and too many drop outs. We live with too many extremes and feel disconnected too often.
This is our life right now. It is our crisis, if you choose to see it that way. It is also our opportunity if you choose to see it that way. This is our opportunity to center ourselves on the circle of life; to be peaceful, kind, creative, resourceful and willing to be in relationship with our earth and our universe rather than at odds.
To risk making too broad a generalization, it seems to me that everywhere I turn someone else is being called to change the way they thought life should be. We are all being called to ask for help, dust off our dreams, help someone else, and see with new eyes. We are asked to be bold, brave and beautiful. We are asked to recommit to love, kindness, honesty and peace. It is time to heal the beauty between us.
Why coaching now?
Because now is the time. It really is that simple.
What To Do When You Don’t Know What To Do
What To Do When You Don’t Know What To Do.
Take a walk
Write a letter
Talk to the plants
Call a friend just for fun
Close your eyes
Pet the dog
Let yourself laugh
Let yourself cry
and
Let yourself exhale
Plan a day trip
Make a silly face
Look out the window
Smile
Say little prayer
Take a breath
Sing a song
Relax your shoulders
Relax your expectations
Drink some water
Imagine peace
Put lotion on your hands and take 2 whole minutes to do it
Think of someone who loves you
Think of someone you love
Quiet your mind, calm your emotions, relax your body
Rest
Do nothing
Enjoy the free time.
When Fire Meets Water
When the energy of Fire meets the energy of Water
There is Transformation.
When the energy of Transformation meets the energy of Earth
There is Fertility.
When the energy of Fertility meets the Breath of Life
There is Creation
When the energy of Creation meets the energy of Love
There is Wholeness
When Wholeness meets the Present Moment
There is Joy
When Joy meets Spirit
There is Soul.
When Soul meets Passion
There is Purpose.
When our Soulful purpose is embodied by our Love
There is healing.
When all this comes together on the Circle of Life
There is Beauty between us.
Let us heal the Beauty between us.
Let us heal the Beauty of this land.

Sisters! Wake up!
Sisters! Wake up!
Take a deep breath. Become aware.
It’s time to come back into your body from wherever you have been while asleep.
It’s time to wake up your body…mind…spirit…soul and dreams.
It’s time to get up!
and stretch your spines and bones and muscles, your insight…your courage.
Shake off the long cozy slumber of the unconscious night.
Write down your dreams so you can remember them… and share them with an elder.
By putting YOUR voice
to YOUR dreams
you might understand and be able to manifest your dreams.
Sisters! Wake up!
It’s time to greet the sun with your song.
It’s time to drink the pure water of life.
Refresh your Spirit.
Call your Spirit home.
Sisters! Wake up!
It’s time to get ready to go to work. You have over slept.
It is time to relieve your other sisters who have worked through the night caring for what so many of us care about: the children, the water, the seeds, the land, the family, the home…
They are tired and need to rest.
Sisters! Wake up!
It is your turn to go to work!
It is your turn to be in nature; give and receive love; appreciate beauty; nurture solitude; practice forgiveness; laugh out loud; cry for a vision and cherish what you cherish.
Sisters! Wake up!
The alarm has sounded and it’s time to wake up. We need you now. We are hungry. We are thirsty. We are tired. We are getting weary and we need your refreshed and rested energy.
Sisters! Wake up!
Wash out your eyes with the pure water of life.
Your hair looks great!
Now, throw on some jeans and let’s get to work!
There is work to be done!
It is time to…heal the beauty of this land,
It is time to heal our own hearts.
It is time to heal the water, the joy, the love.
It’s ok. Do your best. The best you can do is ENOUGH
if you will wake up!
Sisters wake up!
Tease yourself into the safety of an alert, joyful and light heart.
It is time to us all to meet at the table
and break our fast
from courageous action, self expression and deep trust in each other.
Celebrate this new day with your love, your dance, your song, your laughter and your prayer.
There is work to be done, children to love, beauty to be healed.
Please wake up.
Today is a good day to wake up.

Gentle Medicine: Listen to the Wise Ones
Warm Greetings from Colorado!
I have been thinking about wisdom and how much listening to the wise ones means to me. Here is an example. I want to share this wisdom with you as one of my treasures. I don’t remember the details of how Mother Teresa’s words came to me in this form. I do know that they came at the perfect time. Trusting that, I now offer them to you.
Love Them Anyway
People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.
Love then anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish interior motives.
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Be good anyway.
Honesty and frankness will make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.
People need help, but may attack you if you try to help them.
Help them anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.
Mother Theresa
This month explore ways you can choose to “love them anyway”.
How can you love yourself “anyway“?I
